Beauvale Scout Activity Team

 The team currently consists of around 15 members providing the activities below accross all sections in the district: 

• Rock and Tower Climbing

• Hillwalking

• Abseiling

• Kayaking

• Canoeing

• Archery

In addition the team runs water weekends covering Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing and raft building the dates of which are below.

• Scout Water Weekend

• Cub Scout Water Weekend 

We own a sunstantial supply of equipment to support the activity programmes and fund raisining is on going to renew, replace, upgrade and insure our equipment. We have been supported by the Local Network Fund and Awards for All.

 Young Leaders 

A main focus of the team is to have young people running the activities for our younger sections. We currently have a small team of skilled and committed Explorer Scouts who instruct Rock,  Tower climbing, Kaykaing and Canoeing. We are always on the lookout for hard working, commited Explorers who would like to lead adventurous activities. Contact chris for more details.

Adults 

 We are also on the lookout for adults with backgrounds in adventurous activities who may have skills or qualifications to share. Maybe you sail or drive a power boat, or even participate in one of the activiites above? Contact chris for more details.
